Project Partners

Maieutiké is a cultural association, it was founded in Florence, Italy, in 2012, its social purpose is promoting culture in any aspects, where creativity is considered as a fundamental part. The association organizes conferences and seminars dedicated to scientific dissemination, it deals with research topics for the understanding and analysis of the landscape and introducing teaching skills dedicated to environmental and social thematic. The association includes landscape architects, geologists, agronomists, economists, architects, natural scientists, teachers and other professionals who carry out research and teaching with a strong interdisciplinary character. The results are disseminated in national and international conferences.

The association collaborates with contemporary art centre and since 2012 carries out activities in schools of all levels. With the support of Municipalities Maieutiké take care about the production and execution of activities in schools where the creativity is the fundamental ingredient. Maieutiké plans and runs didactic courses with STEAM since 2018, with the National Association of Natural Sciences Teachers (ANISN) and the support of local waste and water management in Tuscany – Italy.

In time Maieutiké and its members took part to various international project activities, collaborating with local and international partners. The two most relevant and valuable experiences were:  WaterSTEAM (from 2019) with the focus on landscape, water, and active citizenship; DAYLIGHTING RIVERS (from 2017): Science Education for Civic Ecology.
