National Multiplier Event in Italy

GOODFOOD in Italy! On the 2nd of May 2024, the IIS Elsa Morante (Florence) hosted the project’s Multiplier Event. During this working day, all the participants were able to taste local products and share the importance of eating genuine and short-supply foods. The School Director Elsa who hosted us, brought greetings from the school and manifested her appreciation of the project and its results.

The Italian project partners, MAIEUTIKÉ and CNR-IBE, presented the GOODFOOD project to the audience.  The conference was attended by Claudia Polverini, president of the National Association of Natural Science Teachers (ANISN) and by representatives of the Florence section, who provided their views on the quality and effectiveness of the project to tackle STEAM in an amazing and interdisciplinary way.

The presentations by the teachers who applied the GOODFOOD Learning Methodology during the pilot phase were particularly interesting, the interdisciplinary nature of the project and its applicability in the classroom were confirmed.

The event was also attended by teachers from different courses of IIS Elsa Morante and students who were very interested in participating in the international video-contest and enjoyed very much learning by cooking!
