GOODFOOD and IDIES: Secondary school students investigate the nutritional, sustainable and health components of different foods.
The young students, Marta Aroca and Ángela García, from the Secondary Education School Infante Juan Manuel, participated in the IX IDIES Conference in Murcia (Spain, June 2023). They came to CEBAS to work on a research project looking at: 1) the Mediterranean diet adherence of the students in their school, 2) the application of digital tools to learn about the nutritional properties of different foods (fruits, meat, snacks) and of the sustainability (CO2 equivalents) of those same products, and 3) the presence in fruit juices of the healthy compounds polyphenols. The video shows a summary of all the good work they carried out and of their presentation at the IDIES Congress in Cartagena (Murcia).
