GOODFOOD and Sustainable Waste Management – The students from the IES Monte Miravete (Murcia, SPAIN) visit a Waste Treatment Center.
On the 11th of January, a group of students of 3rd ESO, IES Monte Miravete (Torreaguera, Murcia, Spain), visited the waste treatment centre of Cañada Hermosa, in Murcia. They saw different types of machinery and the different types of waste that they process, as well as how they bury the waste which cannot be recycled.
The students took the oportunity to interview Mamen Allepuz who is responsible for educational resources within the company (Pre Zero).
